July Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

I am so excited for this Blog Hop! This set is one of the C-U-T-E-S-T sets I have ever seen! It is called "Happy Forever" and is available through a CTMH consultant during the whole month of July.

This time around in our Blog Hop we have around 70 consultants joining in. I challenge you to hop through the entire Blog Hop, you will be inspired by so many talented crafters. So, on to the details, if you have come here from Jen's blog then you are on the right path.

I got the inspiration for this cute tag here. I decided to get ahead of the game and make this tag for my niece's birthday coming up in August. I will be attaching it to her birthday gift with our birthday wishes for her written on the back. I LOVE how it turned out.

Supplies: (All supplies CTMH) Animal Cookies Level 2 paper pack, Tulip cardstock, Clover Meadow cardstock, Candlelight stamp set, Happy Forever stamp set, white daisy ricrac, white daisy grosgrain ribbon, foam numbers, buttons and rhinestones.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I just know you will see so many great ideas through this hop that you will have no choice but to get this set for yourself! Your next stop is to Laurie's blog.

Happy Hopping!

I hear wedding bells!

I am so excited! My cousin Brittney is getting married and I had the privilege of doing her wedding invites. She has awesome taste and chose a black and white design and a gorgeous sea green color.

I think they turned out really nice. She had shown me a photo of this design (sorry to the originator, I do not know your information) with the pockets for the reply card and a registry information on the side. It was very easy to put together. It is a tri-fold design and just tied together with a bow. I added these cute little flowers to give it a little something extra.

June Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

This month's blog hop is featuring the stamp set Wonderful Friend and is available through any Close To My Heart Consultant during the month of June. If you came hoppin' to my blog from Jamia's place then you are definitely on the right track. This month we have close to 70 participants in this hop.

I chose to make a 6x6 card this month featuring some darker masculine colors and a print from the Passages paper pack. I loved the way this turned out. I am in a family with lots of girls and so the boy stuff is a little harder for me to come up with. If that is the case for you, then this Blog Hop is a wealth of motivational projects to get you going.

Supplies: (All supplies from Close To My Heart) New England Ivy cardstock, Barn Red cardstock, Colonial White cardstock, Colonial White Textured cardstock, Passages Level 2 paper pack, Wonderful Friend Stamp Set, Sanding Kit, Barn Red Exclusives Inks Stamp Pad, New England Ivy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad, Foam Tape and Autumn Terracotta Brads.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my card. I hope you enjoyed viewing it as much as I did making it. Please make your next stop at Haley's Blog and see what wonderful things she has to share.

May Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop

Hello! If you have hopped here from Deb's blog then you are on the right track. I hope you have enjoyed yourself so far. This month we are talking about the May Stamp Of The Month "Cherish the Moment" which is a set with 8 stamps.

Supplies: Whoops a Daisy paperpack, Whoops a Daisy level 2 My Stickease, Ocean Exclusive Inks and Cherish the Moment stamp set.
I whipped this layout up in no time due to the ease of our coordinating papers and stickease. I love those things. The sentiment from the May Stamp Of The Month actually inspired my layout title. This set is so versatile, great for cards and tags as well.
Your next stop in the hop is Kami. Enjoy the rest of the Stamp Of The Month Blog Hop and be sure to order your Cherish the Moment stamp set between May 1st-May 31st.

NO PHONE ZONE

Well, I am a big Oprah fan and I have been taking a very close observation of the driving cars around me ever since she started the "NO PHONE ZONE". It is amazing how many people text and talk on the phone while driving. It is also pretty amazing how many of those people that you see that are talking or texting are the ones that are veering into the next lane, are sitting at the light not realizing that it has turned green, missing that stop sign, etc. I will admit I was once one of the guilty ones. I am a busy mom who needs every extra minute to get all the things done I am responsible for as many of us are. BUT that is not an excuse.

Please check out Oprah's website and do a little reading up. April 30th is National No Phone Zone Day and wouldn't it be awesome if we could add to the numbers that have already taken the No Phone Zone Pledge?

Please leave a comment and share your opinion. :)
