NSM Challenge #27

I want to know your best organizational tip for all of us crafters! Being a crafter means having TONS of stuff, little and big, that all need a place. What tip can you pass on that has worked for you in organizing all your gear? Post here by midnight (mountain standard time) to get your name entered into a drawing to win a special prize. Wanna know what it is, well then you might want to post! LOL!

My tip is for those pics that you know you have the perfect items in mind that you want to scrap with for those pics, but can't get to those pictures yet. I put the pictures and all items (paper, ribbon, etc.) that I want to use with those photos in a page protector. I have several of these going and that way when I have a chance I can just pull out the page protector and get started.

That's good tip to help make pages come together quickly. Thanks!

I have a tip, based on my current organizational project: Keep your cards organized and make good use of all those swaps we seem to accumulate.

I have hundreds of swap cards plus my stash of cards that were flowing out of boxes everywhere. I have spent the last couple of evenings making sure the cards are in good shape, adding envelopes if needed, and bagging them into clear bags. I then organized them by occasion in plastic shoebox totes I found on clearance for $1. Now, when I need a quick card or inspiration for a new card, I can find things quickly.

I also kept one nice basket for my most recent creations and swaps so that when my customers come for workshops, they can see the latest things easily.

My next step is to tackle my growing hoard of display boards...

I think I will post this on my blog for tomorrow. I bet I am not the only who is guilty of disorganized card syndrome! ha ha

the only organizational things I use are baby food jars. I use them for everything.

as for pages coming together more quickly, I use the date code on my camera, I make sure I have it turned on so it's right on the photo, I prefer to scrap chronologically, so this is really helpful

Your probably not going to want to hear this, but I organize by decluttering. If I haven't used it in over a year or more. It's outta here!
Sell old srapbook stuff on Ebay, Craigslist, or garage sales. Save the money to add new stuff save up for that Cricut Cartridge you have been wanting.
